Sometimes Dreams Need A Remodel, Too.
Steve had been in the housing construction industry for over 25 years when he was finally able to go into business for himself. As walls started going up, his wife Lori was able to leave her teaching career and join him. A formidable duo to be sure. A dream fulfilled!
Unfortunately the duo was not so formidable as to take on the economic recession after 2008. After taking some time to get back on their feet with new careers, they came back to their dream. A remodeled dream so to speak. They’ve opened up the floor plans, updated the kitchen and bathrooms, livened up the landscaping, and VOILA! Their construction business has become a remodeling business.
It really is the best of both worlds for them. Steve continues to use his construction knowledge and skills to decide quickly what types of updates an older home needs and if it will fit the budget. Lori gets to use all of her design and decorating skills to breathe new life into the spaces that Steve has opened up.
